Season 2 of Berlin Station opens in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. In the wake of the Far Right tide sweeping across continental Europe, Germany finds itself on the precipice of a pivotal election. The captivating and charismatic Alt-Right party leader Katerina Gerhardt has capitalized on the refugee crisis and economic strife to woo disillusioned voters fed up with the status quo. She seems poised for a big win, and the heroes at Berlin Station must determine the nature of the threat she poses, and what role they should play. Is Katerina a viable candidate with a controversial message who should be protected by the democratic process? Or, as preliminary evidence suggests, is she colluding with terrorists?

Season 2 stars Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller, Rhys Ifans as Hector Dejean, Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch and Michelle Forbes as Valerie Edwards. New to the cast this season are Ashley Judd as the new Chief of Station, BB Yates, and Keke Palmer as young case officer April Lewis.

The series is created and executive produced by Olen Steinhauer (author: The Tourist, All The Old Knives, The Cairo Affair).  Bradford Winters (“Dig,” “The Americans,” “Boss,” “Oz”) serves as executive producer and showrunner.  Academy Award® winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, “House of Cards”), along with Steve Golin, Kerry Kohansky-Roberts, Keith Redmon and Luke Rivett from Anonymous Content (“True Detective,” “The Knick,” “Mr. Robot”) also executive produce.  The series is produced by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content.

Graves: Season 2

Season 2: Premiered October 2017 on EPIX

After a year of public protests against his Presidential legacy, Season 2 finds former President Richard Graves (Nick Nolte) turning inward in search of the man he used to be before he was President. This journey is compounded by the arrival of his first grandchild, thanks to daughter Olivia (Heléne Yorke) and a new revelation about his son, Jeremy (Chris Lowell). Graves’s journey coincides with wife Margaret’s (Sela Ward) Senate campaign, as the former First Lady attempts to build her own political legacy at the exact moment that her husband is tearing his down; and his assistant, Isaiah Miller’s (Skylar Astin) search for new direction after taking a bullet for the President in the Season 1 finale. Meanwhile, Graves’s spiritual muse Samantha (Callie Hernandez) finds a new calling as a singer/songwriter.

New recurring cast members this season include Adam Goldberg, Spencer Grammer, Wallace Shawn, Sarah Baker, Lauren Weedman, Matt Long and Juliette Lewis, with Jacqueline Bisset as a guest star.

The series, created and executive produced by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote, Jobs, Neverwas), is also executive produced by Academy Award winner Greg Shapiro (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) along with Keith Eisner (“The Good Wife”) and Eric Weinberg (“Scrubs”). America Divided: Season 2

The critically-acclaimed documentary series America Divided‘s four-part second season explores the most provocative news headlines and cultural topics in recent months.

Gretchen Carlson, who recently made her own personal story of harassment public, takesviewers to the halls of Congress to uncover a culture of sexual harassment, held in place for decades by a deeply flawed system.  In addition, viewers will witness the complex and often-tedious journey of her efforts to get a bipartisan bill introduced in both the House and Senate to better help harassment victims in the workplace.

Diane Guerrero, actor and activist, travels to Houston, Texas to witness the growing conflict over sanctuary cities in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

Native American actor Martin Sensmeier travels to San Juan County, Utah, to investigate the controversy over the Bears Ears National Monument. While there, he  uncovers the decades of struggle for equality by the county’s Native citizens.

Nick Offerman travels to the coal country of eastern Kentucky to investigate the looming collapse of the coal industry and explores its legacy.  While there he meets the rising voices calling for a different future.

Jussie Smollett travels to Tennessee to witness the growing movement to bring down Confederate monuments and commemorate the deaths of thousands of African-Americans lynched during decades of racial terror.

Elvis Goes There is a four-episode, one-hour series that follows renowned journalist Elvis Mitchell as he travels with A-list filmmakers and actors to places of inspiration around the world with unprecedented access, exploring how each location shaped their work and identity

Filmmakers appearing are Paul Feig, Ryan Coogler, Sofia Coppola and Guillermo del Toro. Mitchell, who created the project, will executive produce with Cheri Barner and Wildline’s Simon Helberg, Jocelyn Towne and Cora Olson. Zero Point Zero Productions’ (Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown) Lydia Tenaglia, Craig H. Shepherd and Toby Oppenheimer also executive produce.

Deep State centers around Max Easton (Mark Strong, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Zero Dark Thirty, Kingsman-The Golden Circle), an ex-spy whose past comes back to haunt him when he’s summoned away from his new life in the Pyrenees by George White (Alistair Petrie, The Night Manager, Rogue One), head of covert MI6/CIA team “The Section.” White convinces Max to return to the field to avenge the death of his estranged son Harry (Joe Dempsie, Game of Thrones, Skins). The Panama Papers

Unprotected Sets

EPIX Presents Unprotected Sets, the new, groundbreaking comedy docuseries, profiles twelve emerging stand-up comedians from around the country as they hone their craft. These up-and-coming artists work the comedy circuits, grinding out material at home clubs and on the road, baring the intimacies of their art through uncensored, hilarious performances while finding their voices on stage and off.

The Contender

Hosted by undefeated boxing champion Andre “Son of God” Ward, the first-of-its-kind competitive documentary series The Contender will feature 16 fighters pushing their limits in grueling elimination-style fights and testing their grit and determination to achieve their boxing dreams. The fighters will be overseen by legendary boxing coach Freddie Roach, and renowned Philadelphia trainer Naazim Richardson.

Each fighter will be vying to be declared the new 160-pound middleweight champion of The Contender and take home the winner’s six-figure purse — a prize, which, for all the fighters, represents a better life for their families and loved ones who have been there with them through all the ups and downs of their journeys.

Eric Van Wagenen is executive producer and showrunner alongside Mark Burnett.  The format is owned by MGM Television and Paramount Television, who will both produce.

This Is Home: A Refugee Story

Premiered June 22, 2018 on EPIX

Directed by Alexandra Shiva (How to Dance in Ohio) and produced by Blumhouse and Gidalya Pictures, This Is Home is an intimate portrait of four Syrian refugee families arriving in America and struggling to find their footing. Displaced from their homes and separated from loved ones, they are given eight months of assistance from the International Rescue Committee to become self-sufficient.  As they learn to adapt to challenges, including the newly imposed travel ban, their strength and resilience are tested.

After surviving the traumas of war, the families arrive in Baltimore, Maryland and are met with a whole new set of challenges. They attend cultural orientation classes and job training sessions where they must “learn America” – everything from how to take public transportation to negotiating new gender roles.

This Is Home goes beyond the statistics, headlines, and political rhetoric to tell deeply personal stories, putting a human face on the global refugee crisis.
