Season 1 of Berlin Stationa contemporary spy drama, takes a look at the activity of a CIA office on a global stage in the midst of an investigation into a now-infamous whistleblower. The series follows Daniel Miller, played by Richard Armitage (The Hobbit, “Hannibal”) a new arrival to Berlin’s CIA station who is on a clandestine mission to uncover the source of the Thomas Shaw leaks. Berlin Station also stars Rhys Ifans as Hector Dejean, Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch and Michelle Forbes as Valerie Edwards.

The series is created and executive produced by Olen Steinhauer (author: The TouristAll The Old KnivesThe Cairo Affair).  Bradford Winters (“Dig,” “The Americans,” “Boss,” “Oz”) serves as executive producer and showrunner.  Academy Award® winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, “House of Cards”), along with Steve Golin, Kerry Kohansky-Roberts, Keith Redmon and Luke Rivett from Anonymous Content (“True Detective,” “The Knick,” “Mr. Robot”) also executive produce.  The series is produced by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content.

Overview

Newly promoted to Chief of Station, Valerie Edwards (Michelle Forbes) sends Daniel Miller (Richard Armitage) and Robert Kirsch (Leland Orser) on a diplomatic mission to Estonia, where they uncover signs of an impending Russian invasion, threatening to destabilize the NATO Alliance. Daniel stays behind to search for the truth, but goes MIA during his mission. The rest of the team, joined by Special Activities Case Officer Rafael Torres (Ismael Cruz Córdova), must work to unravel the conspiracy and bring Daniel home. Also stars Ashley Judd, Keke Palmer, Richard Jenkins and Rhys Ifans. James Cromwell will recur as a guest, playing Gilbert Dorn, a former CIA legend put out to pasture who appears on a podcast revealing information about past missions

Season 2: Premiered October 2017 on EPIX

Season 2 of Berlin Station opens in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. In the wake of the Far Right tide sweeping across continental Europe, Germany finds itself on the precipice of a pivotal election. The captivating and charismatic Alt-Right party leader Katerina Gerhardt has capitalized on the refugee crisis and economic strife to woo disillusioned voters fed up with the status quo. She seems poised for a big win, and the heroes at Berlin Station must determine the nature of the threat she poses, and what role they should play. Is Katerina a viable candidate with a controversial message who should be protected by the democratic process? Or, as preliminary evidence suggests, is she colluding with terrorists?

Season 2 stars Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller, Rhys Ifans as Hector Dejean, Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch and Michelle Forbes as Valerie Edwards. New to the cast this season are Ashley Judd as the new Chief of Station, BB Yates, and Keke Palmer as young case officer April Lewis.

    “Everything’s Gonna Be Alt-Right” - Under the direction of new Chief of Staff BB Yates (Ashley Judd), Daniel Miller (Richard Armitage), Robert Kirsch (Leland Orser), Valerie Edwards (Michelle Forbes) and the rest of Berlin Station embark on an unsanctioned operation to uncover a possible Far Right terrorist attack.

    "Right Here, Right Now" - In an episode set completely in Spain over an intense 24-hour period, Daniel (Richard Armitage) enlists the help of an unexpected ally to further his mission with Otto Ganz (Thomas Kretschmann).

    "Do the Right Thing" - BB Yates’s (Ashley Judd) past is revealed while she juggles keeping Berlin Station’s Far Right operation covert or revealing it to Ambassador Hanes; Daniel (Richard Armitage) discovers a lack of trust between Otto Ganz (Thomas Kretschmann) and his daughter.

  • S2: 205 – “Right of Way”

    "Right of Way" - The Station’s sting operation to catch the Far Right in an arms deal goes horribly awry, with Otto Ganz (Thomas Kretschmann) escaping. Meanwhile, Robert (Leland Orser) and Frost (Richard Jenkins) make plans to investigate the money trail behind the PfD’s nefarious dealings.

  • S2: 206 – “The Right Hook”

    "The Right Hook" - Robert (Leland Orser) and Frost (Richard Jenkins) travel to Norway to investigate the illegal money trail leading to PfD. BB (Ashley Judd) and Valerie (Michelle Forbes) devise a new plan involving a member of the Far Right while Daniel (Richard Armitage) deals with the psychological consequences of his mission.
