 EPIX NAMES JOCELYN DIAZ AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING 

Former Walt Disney Executive Joins Premium Network to Advance Original Series Development and Production 

NEW YORK, NY (January 13, 2015) – EPIX, the first premium entertainment network created to capitalize on the “TV Everywhere” era, today announced that it has named Jocelyn Diaz, former Vice President of Production at Walt Disney Studios, as Executive Vice President for Original Programming. Ms. Diaz, a specialist in drama series development and production, has more than 12 years’ experience launching, producing, and overseeing the successful execution of award-winning series and films at Walt Disney, HBO, and ABC Television.

In her previous role at Walt Disney Studios, Ms. Diaz oversaw all aspects of live action feature development and production, including Into the Woodsand Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Prior to that, she was Head of Drama Series and Vice President at HBO, where she managed dramatic pilot and series development and launches, including Boardwalk Empire and Big Love. She also worked on the award-winning series Lost, Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, NYPD Blue, The Practice and The Drew Carey Show while at ABC Television.

She holds a BA in English and Spanish Literature from the University of Virginia.
