NEW YORK, NY – December 12, 2016 – Premium TV network EPIX® received its first ever Golden Globe nomination for Nick Nolte’s leading role in the original comedy “Graves.” The Best Performance By An Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy nomination was announced today by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The half-hour series premiered Sunday, October 16 at 9pm ET/PT, supported by an extensive national marketing and promotional campaign. The penultimate episode aired last night and this Sunday, December 18 the first season will air its finale on EPIX. Production on season two is slated for early spring 2017.

“Graves” follows former two-term Republican President Richard Graves (Nick Nolte, A Walk In The Woods) as he embarks on a Don Quixote-like quest to right the wrongs of his administration and reclaim his legacy 25 years after leaving the White House. His enlightenment takes place as his wife Margaret (Sela Ward, Gone Girl), decides to pursue her own political ambitions. The series also stars Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) as over-eager assistant to President Graves, Isaiah Miller; Heléne Yorke (“Masters of Sex”) as first daughter Olivia who moves back home when her life spirals out of control; Chris Lowell (The Help) as Jeremy, the underachieving first son who returns home from war in Afghanistan; and Callie Hernandez (Alien: Covenant) as Samantha, the free-spirited waitress who becomes the President’s muse. Season two will start production shortly in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A three-time Academy Award® nominee and Golden Globe winner, Nolte has masterfully portrayed a wide range of roles. Most recently he was seen in A Walk in the Woods, co-starring Robert Redford. NEW YORK (Nov. 21, 2016) – Premium TV network EPIX® and the NHL®, partnering for a third season, today announced that EPIX Presents Road To the NHL Outdoor Classics will make its U.S. Television Premiere on Friday, Dec. 16 at 10pm ET/PT, 9C on EPIX with four weekly episodes. This season, the series tells the stories of the athletes and coaches from four teams and their journey to two games played on outdoor rinks. In commemoration of the League’s Centennial Celebration, the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs will compete in the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ on New Year’s Day in Toronto, Canada. The Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues meet in the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® on January 2, in St. Louis. In addition to its airing on EPIX, U.S. hockey fans will be able to stream each episode of EPIX Presents Road To the NHL Outdoor Classics as a simulcast on EPIX.com and NHL.com.

Produced by 54-time EmmyÂŽ award winner Ross Greenburg, narrated by Bill Camp (Jason Bourne, Birdman, 12 Years A Slave) and presented in partnership with NHL Original Productions, EPIX Presents Road To the NHL Outdoor Classics will provide viewers with a sports tech-driven, intimate look at these athletes in their professional and personal settings, capturing all the action, drama, heartaches and triumphs as they unfold.

The Red Wings prepare for the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ as veterans of outdoor games, having played in the 2009 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® at Wrigley Field in Chicago (a win over the Blackhawks), the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. (a shootout loss to the Maple Leafs) and the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ at Coors Field in Denver (a win over the Colorado Avalanche). The Maple Leafs are making their second-ever outdoor game appearance following their victory over the Red Wings in 2014.

The Blackhawks will play in their third NHL Winter Classic® on Jan. 2, 2017 (after their 2009 game at Wrigley Field and 2015 matchup with the Washington Capitals at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.). In addition, the Blackhawks faced the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ and the Minnesota Wild in the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™. The Blues will play in their first-ever game outdoors.

New York, NY – November 17, 2016 – Premium TV network EPIXŽ announced today the renewal of its first two original scripted series with a second season, 10-episode order for one-hour drama series “Berlin Station” and half-hour dramedy “Graves.” Both series premiered Sunday, October 16 at 9pm and 10pm ET/PT, respectively, supported by an extensive national marketing and promotional campaign. The sixth episode for each series premieres this Sunday, November 20, and the season finales are on Sunday, December 18 on EPIX. Production on each is slated for early spring 2017. EPIX also recently announced the start of production on its third original series “Get Shorty,” starring Ray Romano and Chris O’Dowd, from MGM Television.

Greenberg, the driving force behind the creation of EPIX, will continue his leadership of the network with a focus on growth, innovation and expanding its slate of original series, documentaries and films

NEW YORK, NY (November 4, 2016) – Premium entertainment network EPIX today announced that Mark Greenberg has renewed his agreement to serve as President and CEO. Mr. Greenberg, who created the business plan and strategy that launched EPIX as the first premium network designed for linear TV, on demand and online viewing in October 2009, has led the network to profitability since its first year of existence and established it as the fastest growing premium entertainment service for the last five years, according to SNL Kagan.

NEW YORK – November 1, 2016 – Premium cable network EPIX® announced today that production will begin on the original series Get Shorty, produced by MGM Television, on November 8, 2016 with shooting to take place in Los Angeles, CA and Albuquerque, NM. Screen Actors Guild Award® and BAFTA TV Award nominee Chris O’Dowd (“Girls,” St. Vincent, Bridesmaids) and multiple Emmy® winner Ray Romano (“Vinyl,” “Parenthood,”“Everybody Loves Raymond”) are set to star in the 10-episode one hour straight-to-series dark comedy inspired by Elmore Leonard’s 1990 New York Times best-selling classic novel of the same name. Joining Romano and O’Dowd will be series regulars: Screen Actors Guild Award® nominee Sean Bridgers (“Rectify,” Room); Lidia Porto (Horrible Bosses 2); Megan Stevenson (“Review”); Goya Robles (11:55); Lucy Walters (“Power”); Carolyn Dodd (The Adventures of Catty Wompus).

O’Dowd is set to play “Miles,” a hitman from Nevada who tries to become a movie producer in Hollywood as a means to leave his criminal past behind.  Romano is set for the role of “Rick,” a washed up producer of low quality films who becomes Miles’ partner and guide through the maze of Hollywood.  Bridgers will play Miles’ partner within the organization, “Louis.” Porto will portray “Amara,” the godmother of a Nevada crime ring. Stevenson is set for the role of “April,” an attractive and ambitious studio executive. Robles will portray “Yago,” Amara’s dangerous nephew. Walters will play “Katie,” Miles’ wife from whom he is separated. Dodd will play Miles and Katie’s 12-year-old daughter “Emma.”

Created and executive produced by Davey Holmes (“Shameless,” “In Treatment,” “Damages”), Get Shorty will be co-executive produced by Adam Arkin (“The Americans,” “Billions”), who will also direct three episodes, and Emmy nominee Allen Coulter (“The Sopranos,” “Damages”), who will direct and also executive produce the first episode. The series is produced by MGM Television with MGM serving as lead studio and the international distributor.

As one of the show’s executive producers, he also received Emmy Awards in 2003 and 2005 for “Outstanding Comedy Series,” and shared a 2003 Screen Actors Guild Award® with the show’s cast. Romano’s other TV credits include “Vinyl,” “Parenthood” and “Men of a Certain Age.” He also stars in The Big Sick, produced by Judd Apatow and written by and starring Kumail Nanjiani. Other film credits include the voice of Manny the wooly mammoth in 20th Century Fox’s animated hit, Ice Age, and the four sequels, including Ice Age: Collision Course. He also appeared in Welcome To Mooseport, Rob the Mob and the documentary 95 Miles To Go. LOS ANGELES, CA – July 30, 2016 – Premium TV network EPIX® announced today that Emmy® nominee Allen Coulter (“The Sopranos,” “Damages”) has signed on to direct the first episode of the network’s original dark comedy series Get Shorty, a one hour drama series produced by MGM Television. Created and executive produced by Davey Holmes (“Shameless,” “In Treatment,” “Damages”), Get Shorty is a reimagining of Elmore Leonard’s eponymous 1990 New York Times best-selling novel of the same name. Production on the series is anticipated to begin this fall for a summer 2017 premiere.

LOS ANGELES, CA  – July 30, 2016 – Premium TV network EPIX®, while conducting its first Television Critics Association Tour (TCA) presentation, today announced the premiere dates for its inaugural slate of EPIX Original scripted series. Berlin Station and Graves will make their World Television Premieres on Sunday, October 16. Berlin Station will premiere at 9pm ET/PT, 8C and Graves will premiere at 10pm ET/PT, 9C. EPIX also announced Friday, September 30 at 9pm ET/PT, 8C as the World Television Premiere date for its latest docu-series America Divided.

The EPIX Original series Berlin Station, a 10-episode one-hour contemporary spy drama, follows Daniel Miller (Richard Armitage) who has just arrived at the CIA station in Berlin, Germany.
