Gladys

Played By Sarah Stiles

Sarah Stiles stars in GET SHORTY as “Gladys,” who works as Rick’s assistant. She becomes intrigued by Louis and his Mormon ways.  Gladys has dry sense of humor, and proves to be much edgier than she seems.

Sarah Stiles brings the role of ‘Gladys’ to Get Shorty; the strong-minded precocious right-hand woman to a washed-up studio director (Ray Romano) with whom she works tirelessly to help turn his life around whether he wants to or not.

Sarah grew up in New Hampshire and began doing local summer stock theater productions at a very young age. She always knew acting was something she would pursue. Upon graduating, she headed for NYC where she studied with Obie-award winning actress and Artistic Director Tanya Berezin and attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  Her starring role in Shakespeare in the Park’s Into The Woods garnered her critical acclaim for her performance as Little Red Riding Hood opposite Amy Adams and Denis O’Hare.  Sarah went on to four Broadway productions including Hand to God, (for which she received a Tony Award nomination for her role of Jessica); On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Avenue Q in which she portrayed Kate/Lucy and The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee.

Recent film & TV credits include the Steven Soderbergh film Unsane and a starring role in the hilarious short film So You Like Your Neighborhood which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and has gone on to win a number of awards in the festival circuit. Other credits include Billions and I’m Dyin’ Up Here, both for Showtime, the much-touted Marti Noxon’s Dietland for AMC; Blacklist for NBC and the animated show Sunnyland for Nickelodeon. Sarah’s voice can be heard on the recording of Pasek and Paul’s James and The Giant Peach. She is the lead vocalist in Gary Lucas’s Fleischer Project, which features music from Max Fleischer’s Betty and Popeye cartoons.
