Davey was born in Brookline, Mass. Became a delinquent youth. Is a convicted felon. Dropped out of school to become a rocker and played with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Finally graduated college with honors. Was the worst cabdriver ever. Had his plays performed in New York, London and LA. Has been writing TV ever since.
