Davey Holmes is the creator and executive producer of GET SHORTY.

Davey Holmes‘ work for television has earned him a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay – New Series (IN TREATMENT), and a separate nomination for Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay (DAMAGES).


Davey was born in Brookline, Mass. Became a delinquent youth. Is a convicted felon. Dropped out of school to become a rocker and played with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Finally graduated college with honors. Was the worst cabdriver ever. Had his plays performed in New York, London and LA. Has been writing TV ever since.
