Clare Tavernor is an award winning documentary filmmaker specialising in music and the visual arts. She has recently written and produced a biographical series with Island Records founder Chris Blackwell as well as two landmark BBC series exploring the music of Africa and Latin America. A lifelong music fan and avid record collector, her first longform documentary was a film with Keith Richards for BBC2 marking the publication of his autobiography Life.
